Summer Dances

I got the chance to hang out with my oldest and dearest pal this past week, and I got to take some pictures of her. We've been friends since fourth grade. After hanging out this week I was reminded of this one time we stayed in Myrtle Beach, SC. We were on the balcony of our hotel, and the moon was shining and reflecting the stars in the ocean. We spoke of how we loved having those deep, philosophical conversations with people. The ones that just sort of happen out of no where. Where it impacts the way you position yourself to take on life in a new way. We were bummed because we felt we hadn't had one with anyone in a long time. We both felt stuck, but we knew we wanted to be better than what was expected. We talked of how we wanted to do greater and see greater and be greater, but we had no idea what direction we were going in, or how to get to "greater". Looking back, that conversation itself, to me, was one of those deep, philosophical conversations we had been longing for. I don't think I've found "greater" quite yet, but I certainly love a good journey.

Sound Check

Last night was so much fun! I got to see Dash's first performance, Villa Verde, Heyrocco of Charleston, SC, and Rio Bravo. All four bands did amazingly! It was the best show I've been to in a while. Not to mention getting  Fire Belly's for the first time with the guys of Villa Verde and Heyrocco. Great times. Spring break is shaping up to be a memorable one. I just wish it was one or two more weeks!

When Seagulls Attack

It was our first beach day of the year! We didn't take pictures of the exciting stuff, like the bike ride there, jumping in the freezing ocean, or running around like idiots; but here's pictures of us eating our snacks.

I went biking with some friends and made some new one's doing so this past Monday. What a way to start off the week! We played all around town.

My Saturday Night

This Spring Break by far has been the most exciting one yet. I've actually done things instead of just sitting around at home eating PB&Js and watching Spongebob and daytime television. This past Saturday, we celebrated the birth of our beloved ginger friend, Josh, by getting sushi, getting Jimmy Johns, seeing Hammer No More The Fingers at Satellite, and then proceeding to get my third dinner at I<3NY Pizza. Very eventful and so so so much fun! This week I'm working on making a stop-motion video of my encounters during my Spring Break, but to hold you over until that's finished, here's a few crappy-quality photos from the night!
