Winter Weather

Today I got lunch with a couple of old friends, Courtney and Johanna. It was so fun catching up and laughing too hard to chew our food. Not to mention these two are a couple of babes. We just got to hang out and enjoy each other's company and brace the abrupt cold weather together. Great day. Afterwards I got together with my three favorite siblings, the Tews, for a fun little photoshoot! I'm really excited about this one. Keep checking back for some sneak peeks!

Sun Struck

Today was absolutely perfect. It was the best day I've had in such a long time. I got to sleep in and then Dylan and I went to beach to celebrate the beautiful weather. We body surfed, ran to the pier and back to dry off and warm up, and then laid out in the midday sun. Oh man, what a good day. I cannot believe it's the middle of January! How awesome is our little town.

New Toy!

Hello hello everyone! I've got some very exciting news. For starters, today is January 14th and I wore shorts today! The weather has been amazing! I am love love loving it. And for more exciting news (drumroll please) when I came home today I had a brand spanking new Wacom Bamboo tablet waiting for me! I'm absolutely terrible at writing on it so far, but I'm determined to get the hang of it! This opens up so many new doors for me and my editing and I'm so stoked about it! This year's gonna be a big one. Here's my first attempt ever at using my new baby; I used an old shot that I'm gaga over of the beautiful Janna Tew. I'm sorry my flowers suck. Although it looks like an eight year old's doodles I'm excited about it. An a disclaimer or fun fact, however you choose to interpret it: I probably should have read the manual first. Teehee.

Sick Days

Sorry I haven't been posting, everyone. I've been busy busy busy getting ready for school (which started yesterday) and trying to get rid of this cold that's gotten to me. Today has been dedicated to snugglin' up, hot teas, naps, and the new Free People issue which I am going nuts over. It's perfect. What's not perfect is I'm stuck inside and it's almost 70 degrees outside! Can't believe I'm missing out on such a glorious January day. But, it's promising me that Spring is well on its way and I can't wait! Anyway, here's to hoping I can kick my cold in the butt!

A Horse of Course
