A Swell Day

Two new pairs of boots in one week?! I don't have a problem with that! I ordered these sweet black leather beauties from my favorite online surf designer retailer, Swell. They feature the coolest, most effortless and functional style for both genders. Vintage Heaven

I just acquired the cutest vintage boots ever! They're in almost perfect condition and exactly my size! I have been on the hunt for some low rise mahogany cowboy booties for the past year and I finally found them at Planet, this awesome little post-WWII fashion spot in Downtown Wilmington. They have a mixture of vintage, contemporary, and locally made clothing and products all throughout the store. It's got such an original style and its one of my favorite shops in town. And it quickly climbed its way up my like-list when I was able to snag these babies!

Fall Prints

Fall is beautiful in any place at any time, but I can't help but be drawn to Fall in Burgaw, North Carolina. It's everywhere. Yellow, red, and orange leaves covering everything; beanies left and right, and a cool, exciting breeze that carries the last bits of lingering summer warmth through the air. It's breathtaking, really. If I could spend all of my spare time on a bench Downtown, watching the sky change colors, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Tis the Season

Its so cold and rainy here in Wilmington! My toes are little tiny icicles. And my fingers, and my ears, and my nose... you get the point. Its definitely that drink-tea-all-day-and-snuggle-up-to-a-fire kind of weather. I don't have a fireplace, but my cozy blanket and chai seem to be doing the trick! I'm also sporting these new leggings I got yesterday. They're 100% recycled polyester and each purchase from the company provides aid to underdeveloped African countries. So not only did I buy style, I donated to a good cause! With them, I paired my favorite black combat boots, courtesy of Hallelu Boutique, and my new favorite parka that my sister got me from Victoria's Secret! Nothing beats being weatherproof and fashionable at the same time.
