June 8th: Free Clinic, Blacks, Museum Mouth & Villa Verde

Gravity records hosted a killer show this past Saturday. Free Clinic, Blacks, Museum Mouth, and Villa Verde all played amazing. Although I only got an hour and a half of sleep before my high school graduation, the show was well worth the lack of sleep! I also wanted to play around with some long exposures to see what I could cook up with these guys. Check it out:

Breathing

Today I spent the day outdoors and doing little art projects. It was so beautiful. It was my last "real" day of high school; although I haven't been all week. I'd say it was well spent.

Magic

At last I have had the opportunity to look at my photos from the circus. Dylan and I took two of his younger siblings for their birthday. It was my first time though, so I think I was the child in the situation. It was fantastic. Like a dream. As we were leaving though, there were protesters outside with signs against the Cole Brothers Circus for animal cruelty. I was very upset at the idea of it, so I made sure to look into it when I got home. They do have a history of  animal cruelty, however after being charged with counts of abuse a few years ago, the circus now is on probation for it. Meaning that if they do not maintain the standards of the USDA and AWA then they would immediately be shut down. So, with that being said, fear not worried citizens! We did not pay people to abuse tigers and elephants! I was so relieved. Here's some shots from the big top:

Hating This Hiatus...

For all of you fabulous people who hate my guts for falling under the radar lately, I am deeply sorry. I cannot put into words how busy I have recently been, and not hardly any of it photo-worthy. However, in the tiniest allotments of spare time I have had, I have been embracing a new chapter of my life that is rapidly approaching me in what seems like slow-motion. I will have more to share in the upcoming weeks and I vow to please those pearly eyes with  my best of work as the beauty of life wisps by me while I walk through our small but large world, wide-eyed and light-hearted. Bear with me for the next two weeks, and I will be back soon!
